Ensure your student's USI VET Transcripts are up to date
Keeping VET transcripts update to date supports students to verify completed training.
We would like to remind all Registered Training Organisations (RTOs) of the importance of keeping USI VET Transcripts current and accurate. VET transcripts are essential for students as they use them to apply for jobs and to verify past training for credit transfers.
There may be occasions where information on a VET transcript is inaccurate or incomplete. As an RTO, collecting and reporting your students’ training data is required annually or quarterly to the National VET Provider Collections. We encourage RTOs to report on a quarterly basis so students can have their VET Transcript updated more frequently with nationally recognised training appearing around 6 weeks after each collection period.
Quarterly reporting also reduces the end of year reporting workload and brings resolution of reporting issues closer to the time of original data capture.
It is important to note that neither the USI team nor the NCVER are able to make any corrections to a VET transcript. All incoming calls from students regarding their inaccurate or incomplete VET transcripts are referred to their respective RTO.
