Our privacy obligations

We ensure the secure handling of personal information in compliance with the Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles.

We are bound by strict confidentiality laws under Section 14 of the Privacy Act 1988 (Privacy Act) to protect how we collect, access and disclose your personal information.

Our privacy obligations require us to:

  • be open and transparent about how we collect and, use personal information
  • ensure our Privacy Policy is publicly accessible
  • take reasonable steps to ensure the security of personal information collected
  • take reasonable steps to ensure the personal information collected, used is accurate, up to date, complete and relevant.

Australian Privacy Principles 

The Privacy Act contains 13 Australian Privacy principles. These regulate the way we collect, store, provide access to, use and disclose personal information.
