Sharing a USI

When you have created your USI and are logged into the Student Portal, you can:

• email your USI to your education or training provider
• print your USI to supply to your education or training provider.

Education and training providers need to verify your USI to issue your qualification, award, testamur or statement of attainment. Providing them with your USI ensures that their records match.

Both emailing or printing a USI displays the following account holder details:

• the USI
• first name
• middle name (if applicable)
• last name
• date of birth.

Emailing a USI

You can email your USI verification details to multiple email addresses separated by a comma, using the ‘email your USI’ section.

Printing a USI

You can select the ‘print USI’ option to print your verification details.  This function is also available to providers who create USIs on behalf of their students.
